"Having been fortunate to grow up in the outdoors hunting and fishing I learned to care about the delicate balance that nature requires for wildlife to thrive. It is up to those of us that care about wildlife and the places they call home to do the right thing because in the end it is mankind that benefits from the same things that wildlife thrives on, things like clean water and open spaces.
From Ducks to Elk and all the creatures in between they all need clean water and open spaces to thrive. I thank the Lord each day for giving me the opportunity to know his creation. This is a big responsibility for I know it is up to those of us that get it to do all we can so that those who come after us will be rewarded and enriched with wildlife and wild places. Bottom line you protect what you care about."

DU honors Mississippi conservationists
JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI- Will Primos, along with seven other Mississippians was honored by Ducks Unlimited in Jackson, Mississippi as a Hero of Conservation.
Will Primos, founder and president of Primos Hunting Calls, is a philanthropist, hunter, conservationist, and waterfowl enthusiast. From an early age, family members could see the passion for wildlife in his eyes. Primos crafted his first duck call at the age of 11; it was a sign of what was to come. Today Primos Hunting Calls is a major provider of products for the outdoors industry, providing skillfully crafted calls for a variety of game as well as a multitude of hunting accessories. Primos also has developed a successful video series called "The TRUTH" and popular television series called "Primos TRUTH About Hunting" and "Primos TRUTH About Whitetails".
In addition to his contributions to the outdoor industry, Primos is an energetic supporter of Ducks Unlimited. He continually uses his standing as a widely recognized and respected outdoorsman to encourage others to commit to conservation. Primos Hunting Calls is a DU Corporate Sponsor, and Primos has helped DU in numerous other ways, especially in the pursuit of major sponsors and foundation support for the cause of wetlands conservation.
In addition Primos received the 2009 Wetland Conservation Achievement Award in Conservation/Private Citizen category from DU. This national award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the restoration and conservation of North America's wetlands and waterfowl. He also received Wings of Innovation Award from DU in 2008.
