just a qiuck question all. i recently changed to easton ultralight 2312 arrows. normally i shoot gold tip 5575'. but with nationals coming i wanted to go to a lil larger diameter shaft. (seems to be the trend i guess). what i want to know is: are the diamter of the aluminums compareable to the new carbon "fatboy" style shafts on the market. i know the arrows are a fair bit heavier but they seem to shoot great out of my bow. a lil slower but i guess that means just a little more work on the yardage game hey? also this year i seem to be averaging between 185 and 195 per 20 target round for score. will the larger diameter shaft really make that much of a difference in score?
any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated. thanks all.
