Fred Walker is one of the individuals who set the stage for archery and bowhunting in Alberta many years ago. He was a tireless volunteer and was always promoting the sports. He was an Honorary Life Member and friend of the ABA. Fred passed away October 21st. He certainly will be missed by many but not forgotten. The ABA will be paying tribute to Fred in the next newsletter and at the 2009 Banquet.
Fred Walkers funeral will be in Athabasca on Tuesday. It will be a small family funeral only.They will be having a celebration of his life later on in Calgary on November 7th.
