you would probably do better in the brooks, hanna or the stettler region start with big bodies of water such as the EID reservres by brooks and put in time scouting.

The best goose hunting in alberta is wherever you find them, i have found that every year is bit different. scouting is the most critical element into a good shoot look for Barley fields or peas near larger bodies of water or if you get into the south country around lethbridge or taber corn is a great food crop for them as well 2-3 days scouting will give 2-3 great morning shoots no scouting you will bust more often than not!!

okay, my uncle harvests barley, so I could hunt there, and my great grandfather owned property before he died and he gave it to my realitives and there is a slough where my dad and him hunted geese, and apparently goose hunters asked him a lot, so I might hunt there, I'll look around :beer_chee

Most honest answer is go hunt them where they are going? find a field they are feeding in and hunt them there the next morning... let the geese tell you where to hunt. We can all tell you good areas, but as of late, a big part of Alberta has geese on it at one time of the fall or another.
