3D Rule Changes

Been hearing a rumour that the x is now an 11 for the indoors in Lethbridge. Couldn't find any announcements to that effect so I was wondering what, if any are the rule changes?

i have heard the same thing a few times from one person, but it is not in the FCA rules for a National tournament,

For a change of this magnitude to take place would require a vote of some kind I would think.

I've heard it at least once and also seen mention of it on another website that was discussing rule changes in Ontario. The current set of rules on the FCA site are from 2006 and there's no mention of updated rules on the 'recent updates' page.

Russ I beleive that the 11Ring is an OAA thing to bring closer to the IBO scoring. Yuo will see that there is brackets that say FCA differs

Thanks Sean, I heard the rumour at a shoot here and then I was reading the stuff on that other site about the OAA and began to wonder.

There is confusion on quite a few rules.

The FCA website has the rules as well as all recent changes regarding arrow calls as well in their website under Errata.

Arrow calls are now like Field Archery... majority of group. TC's not responsible for arrow calls.

The x ring at the Nationals will be scored as a 10x. If you have questions, I will try to answer them.

For arrow calls a few people had a difference of opinion. I know the FCA rules made a change on Jan 1 2008 that it would be decided by the majority of the group. If it is even then the higher score is awarded. Sames as it is in FITA Field.

Is this the case for the Indoor Natiuonals or can a TC be called over to assist with call if required?

I know it is a very technical picky thing but I was just wondering!...

At Outdoor Nationals, the TC's will not be as readily available as they are at the Indoor Nationals. It is in the best interest of the group to make the decision as per the rules.
