my bow is a thirty pound drawback could i take out a turkey at 10 yards? what about 20?

well, I've figured it's not legal to hunt with my bow so I'm saving up for a real nice one I've had my eyes on

You're right, it has to be at least 40lb draw in Alberta.

Turkeys are alot harder to kill then most people think. There feathers make them very dense and even large poundage bows with lots of KE have a hard time.

I think your doing the right thing by getting a new bow with a little more punch to it.
