Next to my renewed interest in fishing this year I also became overly excited about trying some upland gamebird hunting this year. While hunting out in the Rocky Mountain House area last Nov. my hunting partner shot up some grouse and I got to try it for the first time. Never before have a I tried any upland gamebird and boy was that delicious and the stalk on them was fun too.
As it were, this made me get out and buy a .22 to practice on gophers until the season comes but so far I haven't had a chance to do more than sight in the gun. Hopefully soon I will get out practicing!
