Poachers !!!

Just heard today that several sheep carcasses where found in Blind canyon with there heads removed. The word I hear is that it may have been natives.These sheep have not been doing well for many years now and this just makes me sick!!How low can people be?

The info I got came from a person how was stop by fish and game officers in a helicopter along the forest access road.I think it is alittle more then heresay!!

That would really suck if thats the case.....I've been meaning to hike back into Blind/Yarrow one day for a bit of a tour.....

RACKMASTR,I know what you mean,I just hope they catch whoever has done this and come down hard on them.The sheep in this area have been really slow to recover from a desease years ago.

I ,too, have been meaning to check out the area.I have been fishing in some of the creeks and lakes along the frontage road and have seen sheep up on the sloopes a few times.I will try to make time to hike in to Blind canyon and Yarrow creek this year

I have been looking as well, but no luck. Now if you wanted to know about ferral horses shot in Alberta :rolleyes: It is on websites all around the world.

Wish I could say more but I have not been able to find anything more on this.I do have a friend in Fish and Game here,I may try and talk to him.
