We are starting to sponsor a number of shoots here in Canada and RodS and I were talking tonght and he made an interesting suggestion...I would like your guys feedback on it.

Here's what Rod had to say:

Well I can see to sides to this, most people will probably think that if you are sponsoring a shoot you should supply the banner. On the other hand you could look as it as a commitment from a club in a sponsorship patnership. They buy the banner and you supply prizes that usually are worth more than the banner anyway.

The banners cost around 175.00 for me to get made up.. What do you all think of this??

Good idea but will they go for the extra cost? We have shoots here almost every weekend from Jan-May. So that would be alot of prizes and about 6 banners for the local clubs. I can see if they would like to do this. I think they may want to know what commitment they would get from Bowzone as well.

I guess after some more thought I would think that in order for this to work the club and bowzone wpould have to go into a long term agreement where bowzone would agree to sponsor that clubs shoot for x amount of years. The other thought I had is that clubs could front a deposit of $175.00 for the banner which is returned after the shoot and the money refunded to the club. My wife told me that having the clubs buy the banners was a dumb idea.

What would the cost of a banner be. Some of the big clubs might be interested in a say a five year comitment !
