But i am looking in particular for a STAN or Carter. 3 fingers or 4
I am open to all !!!
Thanks,

The Evolution is the way to go? I was looking at either the Carter Atension or Scott Archery Longhorn
But the carter has a hinge and spike. The spike is half the price but i do not know what i should use! I do not want to remove my D-Loop
What do you think Mikey?
Know where to get any Stans?

all are good release aids .... But all the afore mentioned releases work on a hinge action ..... the Evolution works on increase in holding weight .... You pull back with your thumb on the post witch also acts like a safety .... you anchor .... take you thumb off the post ...then pull thru the shot ... it releases on an increase of set weight .... You dont set screws to set your holding weight like the Stans .... you set your holding weight with the thumb post each time you draw ...so you can draw a 70 pound bow ....then go draw a 55 pounder .... all the same release aid .....
No hand rotation .... just an increase in holding weight .... quite possibly the most accurate release ever made ....

Mikey, I think you still have to set it to your bow. I think if you are all set up for a 55 lb bow, then try to shoot a 70 lber without adjusting the screw, you are going to get a real "Suprise release" when you remove your thumb from the safety.
Note the adjusting screw in the pic.

Wookie ... I seem to recall the adjustment screw is for amount of additional poundage as you pull through the shot ....
ie: you can set it for 2 pounds above your holding weight once you let the post go or 6 additional pounds .....
I could be wrong however ....But I seem to recall that info from a conversation I had elsewhere ....

ahhh wookie you are correct
from another Forum Board ...straight from the designers keyboard ....
OK, Here's a lengthy picture thread of how it works. I hope you all have DSL or better...
1st, the adjustment is here in the back. 1 5/64 wrench, clockwise for more holding weight, counterclockwise for less...

I doubt very much they will have the evolution yet. Only the first 100 have been released. If you really wanted one though, your best bet would be to get it straight from Carter.
