Went For a Ride

Went out west of Water Valley in the forestry today.Still quite a bit of snow in there.No one has been where we were for some time and we made our own tracks.It was tough going where the snow had drifted,you could stay on top then break thru into 3 feet of snow :roll: .Finally found an old sled trail and made some good time on it.
Started to snow about 2:30 so we got out of there.by the time we made the truck you couldn't see the valley behind us.

This is one spot we got stuck.100 feet from the closest tree :roll:Had to use extra cable and a strap to winch out.The bikes are sitting on top of 3 feet of snow.We were trying to cut two moose off to get a better pic but never made it.i did get a couple of pics but they're a fair piece away.

Nice pic's norther, how are the moose doing in the southern part of the province? I've noticed that some of the moose around here have bald spots on their shoulders most likely from ticks. :cry:

Jack,they're in excellent condition.Most of the game I've seen this year seems to have weathered winter quite well.

Excellent...I was out this weekend as well!! :D Awesome rides (camped for the whole weekend) and lots of fun...Thinking of going again this weekend :D :twisted:
