I am a new bow shooter.I have a compound bow that is going to be used for hunting(eventually).There is no arrow rest on it.For hunting and practice,which type or brand of rest would you people recommend?

The bow is a Mathews FX.

If you are gonna go hunting ONLY then i would recomend a good Wisker biskit Only for the fact that it hold your arrow in place whil you are bring your bow back!

If not If you dont want to spend a whole lot of money i use Quicktune 1000. 40$
But if you want something descent for a little more that will be good for hunting and normal shooting 3d and stuff. You should buy:

Trapdoor rest. They are about 100$ cad and they are GREAT quality i used it on a Mathews MQ32 and i used to hunt and shoot 3d even Target!

its silent, easy, reliable! But a little on the expensive side! Althought if you change your bow you keep it and put it on the other bow! :)

But all in all, your best is to stick with NAP. They make GREAT quality rest's at DESCENT prices! Here is a little site for some info :
