Finally!!
Carter has done it!! They have finally made a tee style release that you don’t have to sacrifice draw length to. The Ember!!!
The first time I got this release into my hands I was not quite sure what to think. My first reaction was that it’s so small. A person with larger hands might actually have a hard time fitting the Ember into their hand. But the real magic was when I got to full draw and my bow almost felt to short. I gave it just the slightest pull and away it went.
What a great feel, and as always very crisp action.
Some more really great features of this release the Carter IT’S system which allows you to customize the amount of pressure it take to set the release off with interchangeable springs.
The Ember also comes with a different style of thumb shoe for a very different feel.
Another nice thing about the ember is that you don’t have to decide what configuration that you would like, be it 2, 3, or 4 finger version just order on and it comes with all the parts you need to make it work just about any way you want it to. You can even configure it for your ring finger.
I did try the ring finger configuration, but must admit to not caring for it very much. It scared me!!!!
And as with all Carter releases it very well made and extremely well thought out. And it nice to shoot a release that I don’t have to sacrifice draw length to.
With the soft edges and very ergonomic grip, the Ember is a pleasure to shoot. For anyone thinking of an upgrade or trying a thumb release for the first time this is the one.
