So fellow archers,
I just finished watching Canada in the Rough this morning on Global TV,and have been quite amazed at this program in past episodes. However this morning's show depicted the host taking a shot at a Caribou that was running past him while his guide was telling him the distance with a range finder, now as we know that in itself is a tough shot, but not to be out done with that one, the host was able to sneak up on yet another Caribou only to spook this one into full run,,,and taking yet another shot. The host evidently said that was ok because he was 6 yards behind it and that there was a Gail force wind that blew his arrow off target......to which his comment after that was ....I dont usually shoot over 20 yards at the best of times and that he had pins only set to 40 yards max to begin with.I think his words were both Caribou were over 50.

Great show :nono:

Any comments ....

We've had a number of discussions about that episode and others... what I've learned is that every situation and level of skill for a hunter presents a different set of circumstance, you may not always make the best decision or get the outcome that you expect but your own confidence in your abilities will dictate what action you will take. You can't please everyone, so don't even try ;)
