Of getting told by this damned machine that I've FORGOTTEN my password. Occasionally I get booted off for no apparent reason--go to log in again--of course I forgot the stupid pass number- not password. Who can remember a frigin number everyone else uses passwords. And to boot I'm tired of getting booted out!!! It's a lot of hassle trying to get back in for what?????????? I think I'll start hangin out in other forums.

I'll bet your using Internet Explorer for your browser, Firefox is better in a lot of cases. There's the odd time some butt wad has coded thier site to work for IE and nothing else BUT that's the exception not the rule. I have a router on my home network & a website that I know intimately that won't back up because of Microsoft's NON compliant code and that may be your problem.

PLUS, you may want to go through your USER PROFILE and change the password to something you can remember. The instructions are in the FAQ.

I would just go in and change your passnumber. I use one password for everyweb page I check out. LOL, otherwise there is no way I'd be remebering them all.

Chef. Step back and relax a little. When you try to log in and your password is not correct it takes you to a screen that says your username or password is not correct and that you have used 1 of 5 available attempts to log in. Also on that screen their is a hyperlink for those that have forgotten their password. Click it, follow the directions and a new password will be emailed to you. Then log in, click on Control Panel and change your password to whatever suits you. It is really very simple.

BTW, you lose your passnumber every time your cookies are deleted. If you're deleting cookies for 'security' reasons you will of course need to remember passwords for some sites.

First off, It doesn't really matter if you are 7 or 70. Second of all, being as I am an administrator here at bowzone, you will have to deal with me. Now, if you have problems you need sorted out, private message me and I will help you out.
