I recieved this from Shelley at Kyanne Archery in Pitt Meadows. I talked with her at the Indoor 3d about a Shooter School coming up and said I would post it up here. If anybody is interested give Shelley a call.

• Class size limited, commit early
- Cost per student is $300 U.S.

• If someone has already purchased the Shooter's School Series (all 6 at retail) they get a $50 discount off the school.

• For those who want to monitor the course but not be videoed or critiqued, or can only attend one day, the fee will be $200 US.


• Each student will receive their own 15 min. video tape of themselves before the school and the "hands-on" coaching during the school. Also, they will receive note-taking supplies, magazine articles, patch, and certificate. Students need only bring their shooting equipment.

• Students can purchase the set of Shooter's School videos (all 6) for a $50 discount at the school.

• Students that would like to go through the school a second time may do so for half price ($150 US).

TYPICAL SCHEDULE (times are approximate)

Friday: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm - filming
6:00 pm to 9:00 pm - seminar

Saturday: 8:00 am to noon - seminar
noon to 1:00 pm - lunch
1:00 pm to 5:30 - analysis of some* of the students
*Typically the class is divided into 2 to 4 groups and one or more groups is given the option of leaving early so they don't have to wait. They would return Sunday morning to be analyzed. The other group would remain on Saturday to be analyzed, but would not have to return to class until after lunch on Sunday.

Sunday: 8:00 am to noon - analysis of remaining students
noon to 1:00 pm - lunch
1:00 pm to 5:00 pm - seminar
5:00 pm to 6:00 pm - Certified Instructor program (if applicable)

• T-shirts, polo shirts, patches, videos and other items will be for sale.
• Certified Instructor program is available for an additional $25 per student to NFAA members. (If you are not a member, you may join at the school.) To become an instructor, students must be at least 18.

I should but I am going to pass this year. That time of the year is too busy for me. The end of hockey season and the beginning of ball season. Right now I don't shoot often enough to benefit from that type of training. It becomes a real muscle memory thing and I don't practise oftem enough right now.
