Hey all,
I am in Calgary and I am in my second season of bow and rifle hunting.
I have yet to connect successfully with an animal, but I have learned lots over the course of the two seasons.
I had a chance at a young bull moose during the archery season, but I was alone and didn't have the strength to remove a moose carcass by myself. I passed up the shot and took a cool picture instead
Last year came and went and I didn't come accross any legal game in the areas I was hunting. I saw lots of animals, but nothing that was legal for the season and locations
I have a bear tag to fill this spring and would appreciate any additional advice or perhaps some company. I have a few good spots I am going to investigate this spring, but I am not expecting anything amazing. I am looking forward to the time in the wilderness and the adventure of the hunt.
In addition I am looking for places and people to go coyote hunting with. I would like to try to go hunting for yotes this weekend. I have a savage bolt action .223 with a tasco variable power 6 x 24 scope.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
