There's a guy here, named Billert who posted these instructions on another board:

http://ontariohunter.proboards26.com/index.cgi?board=deer&action=display&thread=1130978290

and, instead of clicking, here's the text:

Limited-Stink European Mount
by billert

Works great if you want to limit the work and don’t have the outdoor boiling facilities. It still stinks a little but not nearly as bad. If you are all set up you can save a few stinky hours over boiling a fully fleshed skull.

1) Remove hide and as much flesh as possible while skull is still fresh
2) During warm-moderate summer weather submerge skull in water (a Rubbermaid container works well)
3) Be sure to protect antlers from mice and rodents from gnawing. I place mine in a wooden box and cover. It’s big enough to accommodate my Rubbermaid container.
4) In about 1 week or longer remove from water and remove as much flesh as easily possible. Wiggle teeth and place any lose ones in Ziploc baggy. The lower front teeth will be the first to come free. Usually the rest will stay in place. Don’t worry if jaw separates or bottom jaw breaks into two pieces. They will simply be hot glued later on.
5) Dump water and be sure to check for any missing teeth at the bottom of the container.
6) Refill container, replace skull and leave for another week.
7) Remove from water and work away any lose material. Check for lose teeth and place into a Ziploc baggy.
8 ) Run a garden hose threw the nostrils and threw the hole at the base of the skull to remove lose brain matter.
9) Refill container and place skull back in water
10) Repeat this process until the water remains clear or skull is fairly clean. Do not leave the skull out of water for any extended period of time as the flesh will become rock solid and more difficult to remove later on.
11) Next run scalding hot water over the skull and in the brain cavity to remove as much stubborn flesh as possible. Use dish soap liberally to remove the grease.
12) Boil skull with fresh water and remove any stubborn flesh. Add dish soap to remove grease.
13) Add 3% hydrogen peroxide ($1/bottle at the dollar store) to a large boiling pot with enough to cover the skull completely with care not to submerge the antlers as it will remove its color. Avoid adding water if possible as it will only dilute the peroxide solution more. However, water can work to cover the skull if slightly short on peroxide.
14) Boil for as long as you can tolerate in the house or 30 minutes.
15) Remove from heat and let stand for 1 week in the peroxide water. The peroxide in this time will kill most of the stink for your next boil. You can cover everything with a plastic garbage bag so as to avoid dispersing smells in the house.
16) Add water to cover the skull as required.
17) After a week, re-boil for 30 minutes, let cool and remove.
18 ) If not satisfied with the bleaching, add more peroxide and repeat (there is no set time for bleaching)
19) Replace teeth with hot glue (glue gun)
20) You can coat with diamond hard varathane (resists yellowing) or you can leave it uncoated and re-bleach later on if it yellows.

Hey Chef,

Scott will take care of you for the purposes of getting the picture up. As for the contact info, do you mean the name of the guy who's info I posted or the guy who worked on Chef's mount?

I'm having a lot of fun with this. It's a little lesson on how people intrepret and follow instructions--- it's why I don't work for other people anymore. I'll repeat them.....pm me with YOUR phone number and I'll call you and give you HIS phone number. He's a middle aged guy and wouldn't appreciate being innundated with calls.

ok chef...pretty simple. It makes no difference whether you pm me the number or call with with it, but I'll entertain you.

You have my number on your pm.

I can do without the sarcasm though. Thanks.

Sorry dude I'm not trying to be an A$$ I'm just trying to do right by this guy. I know there's no difference you could post his phone # all over the place after I give it to you. He didn't give me permission to post his number --that's all. I'd do the same for you or anyone else.
