Hey ladies!

If any of you are looking for a more female-perspective on hunting or the outdoors in general, please look at Women Hunters.

It is an American-based organization; however, I am a Canadian writer for them. I would love to get enough support to expand WomenHunters into Canada.

Visit the site and let me know what you think.

Thanks!

Lindsey,

I normally don't let advertising of other sites stay up. I feel that it's in bad taste to promote your website on other forums that are working on doing the same thing. I think that your organization is great and women from all over the world should get involved but please ask next time you want to promote it on here. I would have had no problems if you simply would have asked.

Hey Scott!

What is your website doing to promote women in the outdoors? I'm not trying to cause problems here, but looks to me like Lindsey was just trying to help other women with an alternative women's hunting website. To me, the internet is a source of information so somebody providing more information shouldn't be a problem. Would it be wrong if I was to tell people through this website where a great little bow shop in Southern Ontario is? Anyways, just my thoughts and questions about your response. Thanks.

P.S. The only way I'd see this differently is if you had to subscribe through payment to this website and she was taking customers away from your website. If you are worried about loosing female hunter's commentary on your forum, then maybe you should further encourage and promote it. Personally, I think we should get as many women, children and men involved in the outdoors, no matter what website they receive their information from.

Well...pikeeyes...If you read my last line:

It's not about not promoting women in the outdoors and how you came to that conclusion is beyond me. It's about site courtesy. Plain and simple.

I agree with you that we should get as many women and children involved. That's why we sponsor many archery tournaments through the bowzone to attract all ages and get them involved.

I do many things in the hunting and fishing community to get women and children involved, so before you start spouting off...better make sure your facts are in order.

Scott,

I apologize. I was looking more for Canadian women's perspective, rather than promotion. But, I understand how it appeared that way.

Take care,

Lindsey
