Looking for some answers,I just had stolen a 35mm trail cam(see gen chit chat)and am now in the market to replace it.I see cabalas has a .3mega pixel digital camera with the pixels being so low how will the pictures compare to a 35mm.I am very paranoid about leaving a expensive camera in the bush after my last experience any help would be great . Thanks Paul

doing a little research from past purchases for digicams I can tell you without a doubt that the camera will produce unusable pictures for you... and likely with that level of quality the flash/response time won't be too good either.
My suggestion would be to research a little on pixcontrollers.com for simple DIY kits and then pickup used cameras on ebay to minimize the costs. 'Sledder' (forum member) has made some of his own and they are easy to build and use and are considerably less in cost.

NTELK,
If your interested in building a trail camera yourself let me know and I can point you in the right direction for all the parts you need. I can explain what you need and even might be able to explain the how to stuff.
