Just a quick note to let everyone know how happy Al, Craig and the rest of the fine folks down at The Calgary Archery Centre made me. After bugging them for quite a while, they graciously put up with my whining and delivered my new Hoyt '03 Magnatec last week. Man, what a great bow,just in time to get used to it for the upcoming season. :hump:

Anyone interested in dealing with a top-notch shop, check them out. :P

Just an update on the bow....

Shoots great! Missed a deer last week because of my own error (Ranging) but other than that, FLAWLESS....

Last night at the range, after shooting for about 30-35 min, shot at 50yds. Can you say "well within my own personal tolerances?" (a 2" group at 50)

Man, does this thing ever shoot the lights out - too bad I can't seem to get it together when the moment of truth comes....

Hopefully, I'll get another crack at it this coming weekend.

Yeah Warden, I totally agree on the miss vs. bad shot thing.

The season has been pretty short (too much work at the new job) can't get out as often as I want. Made it out for 6 days in a row though...

Gotta win the lottery so that I can give up this silliness called "work" and concentrate more on being "Robinhood".... :P
