Surefire Flashlights are freakin awesome !!!!!!
heres the story.....

A friend of Mine had shot a deer at last light saturday night in south alberta and lost sight of it after the shot ..... after the 1/2 hour wait my friend got out of the stand and followed a good blood trail until it ran out ....and heres the kicker ....No deer to be found .....after a while of searching for the trail to pick up again with no avail.... the call comes in to look for downed deer ..... I am staying at a friends place and I happen to be at another friends place at the time another 1/2 hour away .... so the dude whos place I am staying at grabs his E2o Outdoorsman as well as mine and heads out to look for the downed deer(I stayed behind as my Buddy also took my boots as well... I met them at the homestead and helped with bringing the animal out once it was found... I also got there 45 mins after everyone else). As he gets there there is a small Posse is formed already all armed with those 6 volt lanterns so he keeps both Surefire E2o's in his possession .... the Posse sets out in pairs my buddy and another guy with a 6 Volt ..... My bud says put that light away ...we will never find that deer with the little light that throws ... so My bud uses both E2o Outdoorsmans and its like day light in the valley ....(these things are brighter than the typical police issue D-cell flashlights each .... and they are the size of a AA flashlight!!!) About an hour and a half of searching went by (Grid pattern searches are the most efficient but slow to cover any distance) the deer was found by my buddy and the surefire E2o's in the hollow of brush that had been over looked by a searcher earlier in the night. If it wasnt for the Surefire E2o Outdoorsman Flashlights .... That Beautiful Buck would have became Coyote food.

The deer was found about 700 yards from the stand it was shot from in a brush 50 yards from the river.

To Surefire: Thank you for making the finest and brightest flashlights in the world, Without them a downed deer would not have been recovered, and I am certain a great hunter would have hung up their hunting boots forever. Nothing on this planet feels worse to an ethical hunter than not recovering an animal that you shot at.

Thank You again

I haven't had the fortune of tracking an animal at night with my E20 yet - but I can certainly affirm that the darn little thing is the most bright light flashlight on the market in its category (size, battery power, etc.) They're AWESOME!
