I am looking for a set of Bear Claw tires for my quad and need to know the best place around Calgary to get a good price on them. I know this might not be everyones favorite tire, but they will be a large improvement over what I have right now.

I am on a budget now that hunting season is here, as I am anticipating a very expensive season with the price of gas etc.. I am sure most of you know what I mean.

Thanks in advance for any help steering me in the right direction.

Try togo tires, they are across from the French Maid in the south. I've bought probably 6 sets of tires from them. Great prices and superb service. They specialize in used tires and the last set I got for the truck still had the little rubber nubs on them but they were "used." Actually they were "take offs" form the dealer and are really nice tires. I'm pretty sure I've seen quad tires there.

Well, I finally got around to getting some new meats for my Kodiak. I decided to go with the Kenda Executioners, they are a fairly new tire on the market. Everything I had read about them was good, and the price was steered me in this direction. I had phoned almost every place around and guess who gave me the best price, Blackfoot Motorsports. I swore I would never deal with them again and they were the last ones on my phone list, but for the price they quoted me who was I to complain. They were $325.00 in total taxes included in that price, much cheaper than everyone else I called and way cheaper than the ITP's I was looking at.

After thinking about it for months, I decided to go with the stock size because I didnt want the loss of power.

I mounted them myself last night. Here are some pics

So far they are an amazing improvement over the stock garbage, I will give them the full test this weekend.

Ya, I guess they kinda do. But for roughly the same size Vamps I was quoted $676.00 not including GST. Ouch :sex: !

I will give these new meats a good test run this weekend and see how they do :D

I have ridden it a few times over the past few days, I can hardly notice any differance at all. But I will give a better report after riding on the weekend

Tires worked great this weekend! Didnt notice any differance as far as them being a rougher ride over the stock tires, just ran a few less pounds pressure. Worked great in the deep snow as well as on the ice, as long as you didnt spin them. Climbed a few dry cutlines that were extremely steep, the only problem I could see is that there is so much traction with these new meats that the quad wants to flip over backwards in stead of just spin out, I can handle that :D

Hi Davey,
If you wouldn't mind, would you let me know how you like those tires you bought, as i have a kodiak 450, and am looking at upgrading, but have heard tires like ITP are too heavy. Thanks,
Mike
