I'll be practising over the winter, tinkering with the new bow. The girlfriend and I are going to try and shoot a couple of 3-D shoots. Hunting wise I'll be dragging the Beagle out to do some rabbit hunting.

T-man,I know this is off topic but how is your beagle on the rabbits?I haven't heard a beagle bawl on a rabbit in years.I remember tagging along with my Dad when we lived in Colorado and a brace of 9 inch beagles chasing rabbits.

I too live in Airdrie too.

I'll be deer hunting till the 2nd week in Jan. , then I'll get the shotgun out for late season doves , ducks and geese till the end of Jan. then it'll be hog hunting till the end of Feb . . Got to take 2 weeks off after that and get the Turkey calls ready and warmed up for the 3 rd week in March So I can Chase Longbeards till May . Then it's off Fishing again , Till Sept. All of this is depending on that dirty word called Work .

I will be doing a lot of practice with the LB and RC.Indoors, outdoors and chasing a few rabbits while stump shooting as I go.
Also have a new recurve on the way. 64" long 3 pc takedow,.
52#@28".BrownDiamonwood riser
Bamboo/ultracore limbs backed with armtex clear glass on the belly and carbon prepreg on the faces.
The Bowyer has already shot it thru a chrono. it shot over 200fps with 8gr/lb arrows.
[not bad for 52 pounds at28".]
I should have it in my hands in a couple weeks.

Bluenorther.....Don't know how the Beagle is going to be this year. It's been almost 2 full years since I've taken her out. She's still used to the gun, but I'm sure the hunting will be more comic releif then anything  Still a young dog and will hopefully get back into the swing of things. Sure is fun watching them work isn't it
