The Traditional Bowhunters of BC annually have a rendezous at the Rendell Ck Ranch in the SE part of the province where there is a late season archery hunt for Whitetail deer. We ended up with 45 TBBCers and 8 compounders and one crossbow bowhunters all of whom got along great and all pitched in to make this unique event a success . The amazing menu can be seen at--- www.kics.bc.ca/tbbc go to forums , campfire and scroll to Rendell Ck Pot Luck Dinner . You can add smoked oysters and pickled quail eggs to the menu .
Some of the raffle and door prizes consisted of two treestands one of which was hung up on a large centerpole in the middle of a round log house . A Tall Tales Competion was then held with the contestants haveing to tell their tales from this lofty perch.
Funds raised by this Dinner will go to Conservation Projects and to a local Children`Hospital . With the help of a wine list that included a case of Vancouver Blackberry the raffle prizes brought in $1250
