New by-laws governing the discharge of firearms with in the Greater City of Sudbury is under way. It is now that people should by writing the City to voice they concerns with the new by-law that is on the table. The Greater City of Sudbury is proposing a by-law that will see that all firearms ( bows, crossbows pellet guns shotguns, paintball guns and rifles) will not be able to discharge them within 2 km of a dwelling. This includes a cottage or a camp as well. Only a camp used for hunting and nothing else will be the exception. We all know that all firearms shoot different distances but the city has grouped them all together. It is now that we must stand up to be heard or we will lose alot of hunting places around the Greater city of Sudbury. This by-law includes all of the "new" Greater City Of Sudbury AREA!!!.
