I have always used carlton calls when hunting elk I find they work the best for me .Carltons fightin cowcall is the one that works best for me.

ive been using quaker boys, grunt/bleat/phawn bleat. and rattling bag for only about a year...havent seen much with it.. could be my technique or i just smell bad haha. i wanna try that snort wheeze but dont get how to use it..?

Well i Stand by and Love the Bush in the bush diapgram mouth pieces i can say i have gotten the best sound and closest sound to a elk bugling with and with out a tube as well as cow and calf mew sounds as well to the T

i usually use a Black Double Reed Medium Bull reed i can get ever sound i need out of it the green are nice as well but for satellite bulls Orange reeds much harder to use there its a Triple reed unless you are good and experienced enough i can use a Triple but i prefer a double Reed

boo , don't be scared to change your technic a little. Something that some don't realize is the Bleats are more effective in the darker moments of the day. Deer use this call to let the rest of the heard know where they all are.

Rattling and grunting works at times and then just plain rattling , or grunt with out the combo. I have found the new hammer grunt tube from Quakerboy is one of the better grunt tubes there is. I don't use the rattlin bag as I have a favorite set of horns that I like. Both horns are a different size to create different sound as 2 different bucks are pushing. Changing your ways can help you at times...BT

I like to use BuckExpert calls and scents these guys have there own deer, bears ,moose, wolves, coyotes, caribous to test their products on and their urine scents are fresh from their animals. Check out their site at www.buckexpert.com :p
