baiting deer

:D just wanted to know how many people bait the deer they hunt? i have baited with apples but this year while sitting in my stand had a guy come within 60yrds of my stand and put out cabbage never seen that one before but it was comical he never knew i was there watching hahaa he set his stand up and continued to hunt so i grunted a few times waited till he fell asleep and gruntd again it was around 5:30 i hear him rusling and he leaves.... so i get down @ 6:00 he is at his truck with a stund look on his face asked how the hunt was replies i heard one but no shots haha the joke was on him it was me just thought i'd share that with every1 following weekend same thing this time he was out waaaaayyyyyy after dark locked up my bow in the case....... told a game warden friend about it he said he would check it out

lonewolf, I see you are in sault ste marie. I may be transferring there with the company I work for. Hows the fishing and hunting there. I grew up quite a bit south of you in Cambridge.

:D hey there bc bowman the fishing is great all year round the hunting well u have to do alot of scouting unless u know someone with private land where i hunt and fish its pretty good walleye deer moose bear rabbits and grouse aren't too bad in my area let me know if u take that transfer
