I'm shooting fingers and am just wondering what people use as their anchoring points. I can't seem to find mine yet.

I dont shoot fingers but I would use the corner of my mouth for my anchor point I would think it would be similar to shooting a recurve and thats what they use.

A kisser button can be great help when starting out. You anchor it to the side of your mouth since they are attached to your bow string, so you use the same point every time

I think your best anchor point is your peep if you set your peep so you look through it and then tune your rest and sight to your peep you will find you own anchoring point.

I don't shoot fingers either, but I took some lessons this past spring. The instructor encouranged the finger shooters to anchor on the top of their cheek bone right near the eye, so you're looking down the "barrel" sort-to-speak.

I don't know if this is how all finger shooters shoot, but what I witnessed anyways.

i assume you are shooting compoud with sights.if you get your anchor to high you will find you run out of adjustment on your sight,it will end up to low.if you can anchor on the edge or just under your chin it will give you more range on your sight adjustments.you could even try a tab with a shelf for under your chin.anchoring under jaw will also get you more inline with your arrow, instead of looking at your arrow on the left side of string you can look on right side and end up with better left right alignment.

My daughter shoots a takedown recurve with fingers her coach taught her to anchor with the string touching the center of her nose and center of her chin prior to this she was shooting all over the place this has helped her alot her anchor point is now always consistant and her groupings are tight she has won quite a few 3d shoots for her age group and catagory he also taught her to hold all 3 fingers under the arrow. the glove she uses is golfers glove instead of the regular 3 finger glove. he also got her to stay in form and not move until the arrow was in the target. she shoots any where from 5 yds to 25 yds with good groupings, remember that there are no sights, no pins, and a cheap 2.00$ arrow rest
I guess the most important is do what is comfortable and consistant in your shooting style if it works don't fix it

You do not need a kisser button for shooting fingers, put your 1st finger in the corner of your mouth, there is only one anchor point shooting fingers. I take it that you are shooting a stick bow and not a compound since you are shooting fingers.
