Thanks guys it was definately an interesting experience. Getting to shoot with some of the best shots in the world is definately an experience. I had the pleasure of shooting with Morten Boe of Norway, who ended up third. The man is a rock in the wind, something I have to learn to deal with better.

Lost my second match in a one arrow shoot-off or would have been in the top 16 at the worst. Was definately heart breaking to loose a match that way. I had the highest score after one end and hearing the anouncement that I was leading definately gave me the jitters took a few more ends to get straightened away.

All in all a great experience. The real competition is just getting there with FITA cutting the number of archers from each country to three, making the team will just get that much harder.

Would have replied sooner but just found the thread today. Took a while to get logged on to the new site again.

Worlds are every second year, so maybe in two years.

The toughest part will be making the team! Deitmier Trillius will likely be a lock shot two rounds over 1400 back to back (only other person to do this ever was Dave Cousins) and has tied the 90m world record and set a new 30m worlds record. This guy can shoot and if he tries to make the Canadian team is a lock IMHO.

Kevin Tataryn ended up fifth at worlds, is young and has no place to go but up.

That leaves the rest of us wannabe's trying for the 3rd and last spot.

Might have to go back to 3D!!
