Can somebody recoment a decent fletching jig? I shoot aluminum arrows with feathers and would like to start doing my own. Also is there a good resource to learn about arrow building. I'm interested in replacing my own inserts, feathers, cutting arrows to length etc. I don't however want to go too overboard, I have enough things I'm overboard on already!! Just interested in basic stuff.

thanks

Bitzenburger makes the best.....no question....

Arrow building...I'm not sure if there's anything on the main site about it...

Click here (http://www.bowzone.ca/modules.php?op=modload&name=Search&file=index) to search.

Let me know if you find anything iin there....I know it's there somewhere.

I'm a bow newbie shooting aluminum arrows as well.....just picked up an Arizona EZ fletcher and the hardest part is getting the old residue off.....the Blitz's are supposed to be best but get the wallet out.....you'll need it.

I use a Grayling Fletching Jig. It works as good as a Bitz and is only about $30 US. Check Cabelas.

For the Arizona use acetone to soak of the glue.
I use the JoJan multi fletchers and get excelent results.
Martin also makes a good fletcher that won't break the bank.

I use the Jojan multi as well as the martin single. Both are a great and won't kill the wallet. Remember though, don't glue your nock on till all the feathers are glued on, then you can set up your cock feather alignment and then glue on the nock.
