Could you let me know how to go about adding a picture in the little info box next to our names and location area I see some members have . I am not very computer smart so please type slow thanks.

I intrested in tring to do the samething but everytime I click on it tells me that the board is not available. Whay else can I do

Yeah guys, the link is dead! This newer, faster site has already claimed it's dominance.

It's called an avatar.

Click on 'Control Panel' at the top left of the page.

On the left hand side is the menu options. Forth one down is the 'Edit Avatar'

Once you have your picture ready to go, click on ' Use Custom Avatar'

Then you can paste the URL of the picture you want to use or upload it from your computer.

The only bad thing about all this, is the picture cannot be 80 x 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller). You can use a picture editor to resize your avatar to the appropriate size.

As you can see however, my avatar is generally smaller than the other forums I visit.
