Ghost Access Management Plan...Please read!

As many of you are not aware, the proposed GAMP (Ghost Access Management Plan) is well under way and WILL limit your access into the Ghost/Waiparous area. As hunters, you will be affected in the following ways:

1. Limited access for ATV's to retrive game. (no leaving designated trails)
2. Limited access for Trucks to retrive game. (no leaving designated trails)
3. Very limited random camping. (approx. 99% reduction in allowed areas to random camp).

If you think that because you're hunters, this doesn't affect you....YOU'RE WRONG!

Wanted to share this with you Alberta guys....

This is a letter we put together for SRD, the minister and many others regarding GAMP.

I just came across this now... what a HUGE disappointment that nobody is paying attention to this! Thanks Bowzone for helping others make this happen and protect the interests of every recreationalist in Alberta!

Bowzone members - you should be very diligent in sharing this information with everyone you know that likes to camp, quad, fish, hunt or hike in the rocky mountain forest reserve. The time will come when well-funded environmentalists will try to close the vast majority of forest reserve to the average recreational user.

Just a short Note to state that Scott is working extremly hard to stop this in its tracks ...... the very least we can do is support him ...hell support our way of life and do whatever it takes to help out and put an end to this gamp thing ....... The AOHVA is an activist club that has the ear of the Government ....would not be a bad idea to check them out

GAMP is a farce and not based on any science. This is only one of many Access Management Plans that we're fighting in Alberta right now.
