...for target archery for both Olympic style recurve and compound? I'm getting a sure lock for my recurve but can I use it on my compound too?
I'm new and still trying to figure out what to get for the compound. My recurve is my priority.
Thanks,
Trevor

I have two Shur-Locs on my compounds.

The best sights I have ever owned.

Can't see why you could'nt use it on both.

Great sights for sure.

If your getting the Sure-loc Quest or Contender for your recurve I would not use them on a compound. Both are ultra light models with extra cutouts not designed for the added recoil from a compound.

The Challenger or Supreme models will work on both but are sometimes not favoured by recurve shooters due to their slightly heavier weight but will definately work.

Sniper-> great shooting by you Lethbridge boys in the Hat. Wished I could have been there but heading to the US this spring for several shoots and hopefully worlds in Spain. Definately going to be an expensive spring!

Thanks Kev.

Hope you make it to Spain, the fita Scores you've been posting this year you'll do well.

Say hi to Dawn for me.

I think I'm going to go with a scope type sight that one of the club members has for sale. The problem is though that he told me that when I start to compete with my compound I will be in a category call "compound unlimited." Is this the wrong catagory to start off in or does it matter? I won't be starting to compete with my compound for a while anyway because right now Olympic style shooting is what interest me most.
Thanks,
Trevor

Thanks guys. I've gone with a sure-loc lite with a long sight bar. I'll be using it on both my compound and recurve. I bought two FITA style apature mounts and two identical FITA style apatures so that no matter what bow I'm using I'm always looking through the same sight.
Cheers,
Trevor
