Hello,
My name is Trevor and I'm a schoolteacher in Northern New Brunswick. One week ago yesterday I came across an archery demo that Bathurst club was putting on at the mall. I paid my $3 for three arrows and was handed a Victory and was told to hit the balloons. I listened and I've been hooked every since! Yesterday just one week after shooting my first arrow I bought two bows, a Martin Lynx recurve and a Browning compound, the name of which I can't remember right now. I joined the Bathurst club and will be joining the Dalhousie club Tuesday. Today was my third time shooting if you included the mall but the first time with my new bow. I love Olympic style recurve shooting and I can't wait to compete. Today I was shooting 29's and 30's, whatever that means.lol All I know is I have an excellent coach and I was hitting the yellow a lot. I'm going to start reading all I can about FITA and Olympic style shooting.
Well that's my story. I just wanted to say hi and I hope I learn a lot for all of you and who knows maybe even meet some of you at a tournament some time.
Cheers,
Trevor
