I am going to be video taping my hunts this year in the spring and was wondering if anyone else would be interested in sharing their hunting videos? I will gather some information regarding this as i really enjoy watching others hunts and wild encounters. i haven't killed anything with my bow so i am trying for my first kill on camera!

I have guided hunters who have brought a camera man with them and sometimes it is a pain trying to get close enough to something with just two people without a third person stomping after you. It is rewarding when it works though because you get to see what really happens, not just what you remember. Have fun with it and good luck.

I also am looking for my first kill, and I want to get it on tape too.
Gorilla makes a camera mount for tree stands, for 49$. Im going to pick one up and see how it works. If I get something I will try to post it here so you can have a look

Get the clip shot ... awesome products and of low cost. Very sturdy.
I shot this video of a bear hunt with the camera clipped to a tree stand peg.

I have had some success with videoing bear hunts. I usually use a window mount for the camera and attached to a plate that a friend fabricated that I can screw into the tree. It works for bears because they tend to be near the bait when you shoot. Probably would be a little tricky for deer.
This is the second bear I got on tape. The first was of my wife shooting her bear but she won't let me post on youtube.

I love taking pictures of my hunting ventures....but I found out it can cost you .. I am a trophy hunter, mainly Mule Deer and for years have been dragging a camera along trying to get shots but as I found out a couple years ago when I was trying to shoot a typical MD in the 205" range at 70 yards while he was sleeping....anyways the buck suddenly woke and moved off as my bow was 20' away... Sooo, from now on I only take pics from afar or after the kill....lesson learnt...something to think about

Bear baits are easy to video. The rest not so much.
Here is my 09 Bear shot with a Sony Handycam.
