It's baaack ... and it's BIGGER than ever. The 6th Annual Tommy & Rumble Striper Tournament, presented by Sprint PCS, will be Friday, November 14. We've seriously upped the ante this year by offering up over three grand worth of cash and prizes. Here's all the info you should need to get ready:
Date: Friday, November 14, 2003
Where: Boathouse Boat Ramp on the pristine Elizabeth River in beautiful downtown Norfolk
Registration: 4:30am-7:00am
Lines In: 5:45am
Lines Out: 9:00am
Weigh-in: 9:15am
How Much: Free! (Where else you gonna find a deal like that, huh?!)
Prizes: Largest Limit (two-fish max): $500
Largest Fish: $500
2nd-Largest Limit: $300
3rd-Largest Limit: $100
4th-Largest Limit: $50
5th-Largest Limit: $25
More Prizes: The first 99 anglers to register will each receive a pair of tickets to that night's Monster Jam at the Hampton Coliseum!
Free Food: The Wild Wing Cantina will be serving up their fabulous wings. You can eat 'em or use 'em as lures, cause everyone knows striper love chicken wings!
And Check This S#!t Out: This is an Official Associated Tournament of the Striped Bass World Championships! That means every angler who registers for our tourney gets free entry into the SBWC ($25 value) and is eligible to win cash and prizes from the multitude of different categories in the SBWC ... including the $25,000 first prize!!
