The ATBA is going to raffle off a Jack Kempf longbow at the Jamboree. There is going to be a great momento given to all that pre-register by the end of June.
You won't want to miss this one it's going to be a great time.

Hey warden, The bowzone should be there to cover this event. It would also be a chance for you to do some fun shooting with that Recurve, and pick up a few tips from the "sightless" ones. LOL
These are not serious shoots like the big 3D shoots you are used to, here it is all about fun and friendship. If you don't want to keep score thats just dandy, most won't be .
There will be some real nice custom bows to have a gander at as well as some great Selfbows made by some of the shooters.
I think it's time the Bowzone takes a step out of the" DARK SIDE " and into our side of archery for a change, and see's just how much fun we realy do have.
You might even get hooked if you don't watch out.

Thanks Scott:
I hope we have a great turn out as well. This is our first one and trust me it's been tuff getting the word out.
We are just a bunch of Traditional Archers wanting to have fun and share it.
If there is any way the Bowzone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Man, I'd love to go but I will be probably moving that weekend up to Stony Plain, Alberta.
And hardluck59, I don't know what I have here that would interest the trad hunters. I would send up some lights, but since you guys don't shoot with training wheels and shoot "traditional"...aren't you supposed to use torches to track game at night? LOL!
PM me hardluck and I'll see what I can put together.

We could use the lights to find the warden. LOL then we can "TORCH HIM".
If you can't make it send some of the pro staff and we will enlighten them to the finer side of life.

Hey Warden, you moving up North?
You know of course, that you don't have to migrate to follow the animals and their hunting seasons; you can just visit those Northen parts of Alberta and hunt while visiting, then come back down and hunt in God's Country....

The jamboree was a big success. Thanks to the ATBA and all the sponsors like the Bowzone , we has a blast.
2 25 target courses kept us busy and the practice buts were in constant use. There were several bowyers with their bows there for test shooting as well.I brought along a few demo bows to test from my reviews that were passed around for anyone that wanted to try one out.
The 46" Rodney Wright Stalker was a bow that got a lot of attention. It strings up at just 40" tip to tip and really surprised the shooters at the total lack of shock and finger pinch.
We also had the Carbon Classic Black Swans there for the performance fans.
Quarter Moon Bows from Pincher creek had some very nice looking bows that shot sweet too.The Hornet Flatbow was my pick from the Quarter moon table.
Black Hound archery was another bowyer that had some nice shooters to try out. There were more but the names slip my mind.
One lucky shooter won a Jack Kempf" Little Grizzly " flat bow.in the raffles.and 2 other self bows were drawn for also. There was a tremendous amount of support evident and door prizes were being drawn all weekend.
I lost count of the Stanley Hips targets that were given out.The Bowzone Surefire lights were another good prize that slipped past me.
The entertainment that Mark Baker and his guitar provided saturday night was a big hit too.
Consider us in for the next ATBA Jambore. This was just to much fun.
