In your opinion,what is the difference between trad hunters and coumpound hunter9Excluding bows)?

Compound Bow shooters are smarter than recurve shooters. That's a proven fact!

Just kidding......I don't think that there's any difference....an archer is an archer even if he shoots a bow with training wheels on it or even if he shoots a branch with a piece of twine tied to both ends.

Trad hunters want more chalenge.Most have found that the compounds were getting to easy due to the longer ranges possible.
Also most trad hunters like to string a bow and go without worrying anout sights,rests and cams getting out of wack.No more mesing with accesories with a real bow . LOL {did you see this Warden?}

There are some more advantages too,
you never need to wory about enough light to see the pins,
It is much faster to draw and shoot, a trad bow
The release never freezes up, if you wear mittens.LOL
Trad bows are quieter
Trad bows are much lighter to cary all day.
A spare string fits in a shirt pocket and can be replaces in seconds anywhere.
ITS MORE FUN!!!!!!!and a lot more of a chalenge.

Out of all the arguments that you brought forth there are two that are real.
It is faster to draw,And it is lighter to carry in the wood.
Usely, trad hunters are more serious cause the marging for error is small.
The definition of archery hunters and trads hunters are similar.Both shoot modern bows that use fiberglass,carbon,moder glues and epoxy,modern strings Aluminium arrows or carbon arrows.
To resume,compound or tradhunters partake same feeling,enjoy natureand try to practice a lot to be a better shot.

:lol: When it all boils down there is only one difference between Traditional and Modern Bowhunters . That difference is the level of harvest , An educated guess based on personnal experience is 15-20 to 1 in favour of coumpounds. :cry:

I agree but which one is more rewarding a easy shot or a 25/1 odd shot?

BTW I shoot both but prefer tradbow for the challenge and it is light in weight for spot and stalk .
