I am going pheasant hunting this weekend for the first time and could use some advice. I shoot a 45' Martin Savannah longbow and was thinking of using judo points. Any thoughts??

I have shot Gophers with Judos and they make one heck of a mess .... for an animal like pheasent that I would like to eat I would use an old broadhead that I dont care if it gets wrecked ..... Makes the Bird just as dead without wasting the amount of breast meat.
I have shot birds with a shot gun and a .22 but never a bow .... for that matter you could proablly use a feild point and get the same effect as a .22
my 2 cents
for what its worth
