Who uses what for Fixed Pin Sights. I use the Cobra Sidewinder, a Timberline Power Glo Xtreme and a Trophy Ridge Flatliner. I have been looking at getting a Copper John Deadnuts. How about you.

I use a 3 pin fiber optic PSE sight (came with the bow). Now that I've bought a new bow I'm looking real hard at the Cobra Sidewinder, I really like how bright the pins are. I'm not so sure about the vertical pin system, but I do find the field of view better. I've never used one, anyone out there have any thoughts on them?

8) :)
I use a Trophy Rudge Flatliner Extreme. It's the 3-pin model, because I find that too many pins can confuse me when I'm in the bush.
If you get one, go for the model with the reflective ring around the sight window. It makes it easier to acquire a sight image under low light conditions. I wound up painting the sight ring flourescent lime green. Works OK, but the reflective ring still shows up better.

I am having a real problem distinguishing any of the lower pins on my Flatliner. That is why I am thinking about the Deadnuts.

I use the Cobra-Sidewinder on my main bow and have the CopperJohn on my back-up one.I prefer the Cobra for hunting as it is far brighter than the CJ but I like the CJ for 3-D.

Isn't the Sidewinder Something! What a bright sight. I am also looking at the Dead Nuts for my 3D rig.

I use a Toxonics Hybrid V. I like it alot it is a modular type sight. It has a 5 pin head for hunting and the you can switch it over to another module for target or 3d if you wish. Here are some pics.

I am using the CJ Deadnuts sight 3 pin. I love it. It sure beats my cheap set of Truglos that I bought 5 years ago. I picked up the light for them at Cabela's for $20 American. These are all steel pins and housing that should stand the test of time for many more years. I would suggest buying the light because the bottom pin is red and is alittle hard to see. Once I turned on the light I could see all 3 pins with no problem. I paid $50 american for my sites at Bass pro on one of my adventures to Detroit.

I was using a Trophy Ridge Matrix sight...very good sight...except I broke one of it's fiber optic wires. My cock feather hit it...I was using a 3 prong Bodoodle rest. Now it's sitting in the cardboard waiting for my next bow with a shoot thru or drop away rest.
I'm now using a Spot Hogg Hogg It sight...very similar to the Copper John Dead Nuts Pro II or Pro III sight. The Spot Hogg is better because it has gang adjustment (vertically and horizontally)...and it doesn't need a lock-down bolt. I believe the coming year's CJ will also have gang adjustments.
I ordered mine from Bass Pro....it only came with .019 pins  I had to order the .029 pins from Spot Hogg. I find the .029 pins brighter.
Currently the Spot Hogg is about $80.00US more than the Copper John...yikes.
