I can't believe nobody has picked up the PSE carrea. That is a great deal for $150.

I'm going to do my own research and searching, but is this a good bow for someone like me who's looking to break into bow hunting??? I realize it's a bit of a strange question, but I've joined these forums to learn about the sport and bows in general, so I'm an absolute noob. Obviously though, if something's a good deal, I don't want it to pass me by because I'm ignorant of the sport, if you catch my drift. So......any comments are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Hey Raymundo. Welcome to The BowZone!
It is a great bow...and a really good deal! I would suggest touching base with the seller (His name is Al Southwood and he owns The Calgary Archery Centre). You can reach him at 403-255-6830. They are closed on Mondays but you will be able to catch him on Tues morn after 11am (MST).
The first thing that you have to do though, is make sure you get measured for your proper draw length at a reputable pro shop. This bow is made for a person with a 30" draw and is ONLY adjustable +/- 1/2 an inch so you have to make sure it fits you before you purchase it.

Hey Scott;
Thanks a lot for the quick post and for the welcome. The info that you posted is very helpful indeed. I'll visit a local shop and see where I'm at for draw length (cuz I've no idea), and then move on from there. If the bow's a fit, then I may be making some room in my budget for it....alas my poor wife. :wink:
