Smoke Sticks

Just wondering if anyone has used these things. Any tips or comments?

I haven't used them personaly, but a friend of mine swears by them. He has used'em for Moose, Elk and deer. Just a note, I tried to use them on Monday up north, make sure you have a good all weather lighter. It was
-20 up there and I couldn't get them to light because the lighter wouldn't work.

A friend of mine recommended the whitetail sticks about three years ago, said they worked well. Never tried the whitetail ones but have used the elk and moose sticks. No luck so far using the elk sticks (though I’ve not used them religiously) but on the other hand this year we were able to bag two moose using these "stinky stoggies", both animals in separate incidents came in from down wind with their noses in the air and in both cases it was a windy evening.
