What type of arrows do you use. Wood, Aluminum, Carbon. How do the fly in relation to each other.

I use them both, Redline 360's for my 3D, XX75 2315's for hunting. At 40 yards, shot from the same bow, the aluminum 2315's hit just over 12 inches lower than the carbons. They would have started out of the rest a little higher than the carbons due to their larger diameter making them sit higher in the rest, so I imagine the actual drop would have been more.

Use aluminium arrows like easton Legacy in 2216
with 142gr. rasorback 5.

Anyone use wood arrows if so,who do you buy it from and what are your feeling shooting them?

I play at both ends of the arrow material scale. :smile: I usually use bemans out of my recurve but self nock, home-made wood ones out of the longbow. My wood ones are either yellow cedar or footed douglas fir. Footed with either bubinga or rose wood, and I usually make/reinforce the nock with the same hard wood as the foot. Time consuming and annoying when you snap a few. :smile: Guess which bow I don't shoot very much. :wink:
