Has trad helped you get access?

I have always wondered this. Does your style of hunting help you with access in difficult areas? I have mentioned to landowners that I hunt with a recurve and some guys look at me with a questioing eye - others eyes light up with fond memories of the early years of modern bow hunting.

Some farmers look at you with the look of "you are going hunting with that?"...one even reached behind his door to give me an old .303....I think some respect the fact that trad guys have to get closer.

It's not that it is the face paint that I wear...they ususally take pity...I don't have a woman to show me how to apply make-up properly:laugh:

One guy asked to see my broadheads and said "if I find one-a-these in one-a my cows yer in for it". I said "with all due respect - I couldn't hit anything so small as a cow."
