OK I'd like some opinions here, it has a K&N air filter on it, I've been told by someone to get rid of it and go with a regular paper filter, and one other guy says to put a filter sock on with the K&N????????

other thing I'm thinking about doing is adding a smoke windshield, any opinions?

I don't know about the K&N.. I used to run them in my vehicles... loved them there. My Honda has basicly the same thing, an oiled washable filter.. but it is under the seat and in a filter box.

Now for a windshield... depends on how much bush riding you will do... if there will be a bunch I bet it will find a branch....

Very nice!!

I run an 06 Cat 650 H1...

Here's the mods:

2" Snorked
Dynojet kit
K & N Filter
27" mud lites
2500 lb winch
Tamarack Front Box
Dalton H1 Clutch Kit
Arctic Cat Sway Bar
Penland HMF Exhaust
Tamarack Rear ATV box
Kimpex "Fender Protectors"

I would stick with the K & N filter...it does help it breathe better...more air=more power...

You just have to make sure you keep it clean...
