I am interested to start bowhunting I was wondering if this bow would be alright

It's a pretty old bow Thunderbolt...I would get a newer one...You can pick them up cheap too.

You can get a Samick Red Stag recurve for about 170.00 to 180 bucks....my dad has one and it shoots better than a lot of the 500.00 bows I've shot.
Also check out Quinn's Archery....you can get their Stallion Recurve for about 260.00 bucks, it's one of the top 4 recurves I've ever shot, and dont let the price fool you....it's a good bow at any price, that's the recurve I have.
