QUESTION – Should changes be made to have the archery seasons open on the same date each year? Province wide? At least regionally?
Currently, much of the province has the archery seasons open on the Wednesday after the September long weekend. The argument being it is to avoid conflicts with other users. There seems to be lots of thought that this conflict is a perception rather than reality and that the conflict does not exist.
We would like you, the members, to contact our Regulations Director Tom Foss (tom.foss@rbc.com) or member Dave Campbell (dave.campbell@platinum.ca) so we can collect your thoughts and suggestions, gather information and build a case to present to SRD (through our Resolution process and regular meetings and correspondence) and to our sister groups (for their input as well) in making any desired changes.
