Hey Everyone,
BowZone has been in need of a face lift for sometime now and I finally found some time when I was sick at home here in the last couple of days to throw a bit of time at it and change a few things around.
So, not in any particular order:
Completed a new look for the forum. New graphics and color scheme. Should be faster loading and easier to read and navigate.
Added some new advertising features. As I'm sure you've noticed, there are a few instances of google ads on the site now. You'll see them at the top and the bottom of the main forum page and if you're not logged in, you'll see the ads in the first post of every thread. There's an easy way to get rid of them from within the threads...log in and they disappear. You've also seen the new angled advertising in the bottom right corner of the site. We've added some new functionality in that regard to help our sponsors gain some more exposure.
Albums: Once you're logged in, you'll see the 5 newest photos from the albums. You can get to your albums from your User CP (http://bowzone.ca/forum/usercp.php) or the Community (http://bowzone.ca/forum/album.php) link in the top nav bar of the site. The albums are free to use and work well. Please use them for all of your photos of hunts, fishing excursions, quadding trips or anything that you would like. Please make sure you're not uploading porn or anything ignorant there.
