Does the ABA have an Member Insurance Policy?
I scoured the website and cannot find any details.
What are the details?
It's through the FCA, If you go to http://www.fca.ca/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=29:insurance&catid=12:fca-info&Itemid=21 you should find the information. Can't remember the details off hand but the provider is based in Montreal.

Russ is right - we get insurance thru the FCA BUT we just found out at the August FCA meeting where the insurance broker gave a presentation about the insurance coverage and surprised everyone there that the present policy DOES NOT cover hunting activities. As an executive we are scrambling to find out why or how the FCA didn't know this before, how/if we can get a rider added, who else out there can give this type of coverage for hunting activities. It must be mentioned though that this type of insurance is cheap for a reason - does not kick in until all your personal insurance coverage is exhuasted. We will be advising the membership about this and hopefully we will have some answers soon. We have lots of questions into the FCA and hope to get some answers from them soon. We are also checking with other groups as to their policies etc and have a broker doing some work as well.
